It’s Official: I love my “job”
What is now simply part of my daily “routine” can seem quite exciting to others and it is quit typical for a crowd to gather near the set when on a shoot. On this men’s fashion photoshoot in a resort town in Colorado a crowd gathered and one of guys had himself a pretty nice DSLR. His friends were goading him on to slip in and take a shot. He pretended to do so and was rather surprised when I told him to go ahead and actually take it. He was even more surprised when I took the pocket wizard off my camera, handed it told him and told him what the lights were set for so he could take a few shots with the strobes we had set up.
Of course his friends all had to get into the shot
And when the pocket wizard came back to me I made sure I fired off a couple shots with his buddies creating a new background for us. Of course the back light was set to light a stone wall in the distance so it was not too flattering on them, but this was all in good fun.
More often than not I would not be able to allow onlookers to take photos of the shoot in progress, but this was not one of those times. So bending the “rules” made for a highlight in the day of several people.
The model in this shoot is Zac Beaman with nxt Models in Denver.
